Competing in one of the most demanding forms of motorsport, Ortega has established himself as a formidable competitor in the legendary Baja peninsula races that have defined desert racing for five decades.

Racing out of the birthplace of Baja racing, Ortega brings local knowledge and passion to every mile of the grueling SCORE courses. His proximity to the racing epicenter of Ensenada and the iconic Baja 1000 and Baja 500 courses provides him with invaluable experience navigating the treacherous desert terrain that has challenged racers since SCORE International's founding in 1973.
