A proven veteran of SCORE's most challenging desert terrain, this Guadalajara-based competitor has established himself as a formidable force in the demanding world of Baja racing. His most notable achievement came during the grueling 2018 BFGoodrich Tires SCORE Baja 500, where he secured a hard-fought 10th place finish in the Sportsman Motorcycle division as part of the #225x team alongside Alberto Morales, Carlos Nafarrate, and Ramon Davila.

Piloting their Honda CRF450X across 542.12 miles of punishing Baja California terrain, Mendez and his team demonstrated exceptional endurance and tactical racing, completing the course in 14:49:43 despite the brutal conditions that claimed several competitors. The race, which saw only 19 finishers from 21 starters in their division, showcased the team's mechanical preparation and riding skills against an international field of desert racing specialists.

Operating from Mexico's racing heartland, Mendez represents the strong tradition of Mexican competitors who have made SCORE racing their proving ground.
