Racing out of Scotch Creek, British Columbia, the 57-year-old pilot has consistently demonstrated his ability to conquer the legendary Baja Peninsula's most demanding terrain.
Acton's most notable achievement came in the prestigious Baja 1000, where he piloted his Yamaha YXZ1000R to a hard-fought fifth-place finish in the highly competitive Pro UTV Naturally Aspirated class. Competing alongside an elite crew including his son Mark Acton, Trevor Davies, Scott Acton, Brad Noakes, and John Paulus, the team showcased remarkable endurance and technical prowess throughout the 1,000-mile odyssey, crossing the finish line with a time of 37:09:08.
