A visionary leader who transformed SCORE International while maintaining his competitive edge on the racecourse, Roger Norman continues to shape the future of desert racing from his dual role as both competitor and sanctioning body executive. Norman's crowning achievement came with his overall victory at the legendary SCORE Baja 1000 in 2008, cementing his status among desert racing's elite after just entering the premier Trophy Truck division in 2007.

His meteoric rise through SCORE's marquee unlimited production truck class was nothing short of spectacular, earning two coveted SCORE Trophy Truck race wins and finishing second in season points in both 2008 and 2009 against the world's most experienced desert racers. Norman capped his competitive career in 2010 with an impressive third-place 'ironman' finish, driving solo for more than 1000 miles down the Baja California peninsula.

Beyond his racing achievements, Norman's business acumen as a casino owner, developer, and contractor positioned him perfectly to lead SCORE International into a new era. Under his leadership, SCORE has expanded its vision while maintaining the organization's core mission of producing world-class desert racing events, including the historic 50th anniversary celebrations of both the Baja 500 and Baja 1000.
