Biography

Racing for over a decade in the demanding SCORE desert racing series, this Las Cruces native has carved out a reputation as a skilled and dedicated competitor across multiple classes. With extensive experience in Class 7 open production mini trucks, he demonstrated his versatility by co-driving the number 717 Chevy S10 alongside Mike Perez, Cisco Bio, and George Jimenez in the legendary Baja 1000, tackling the grueling 1,000-mile course through Baja California's unforgiving terrain.

His commitment to the sport extends beyond just driving, as he's been part of multi-driver teams that understand the critical importance of seamless coordination and strategic pit work in completing these marathon desert races. The Baja 1000, known as the world's most prestigious off-road race, tests not only driving skill but also mechanical preparation, navigation, and mental fortitude over courses that can take 20-40 hours to complete.

Representing New Mexico in a sport dominated by California and Nevada competitors, he brings a unique perspective and unwavering determination to every race. His participation in the sport's most challenging events demonstrates the dedication required to compete at SCORE's highest levels, where finishing itself is considered a victory.
