Biography

Racing alongside daughter Alexia in the competitive Trophy Truck Spec class, Gonzalo Pirron has established himself as a formidable presence in SCORE desert racing. The father-daughter team showcased their determination and skill at the 2018 BFGoodrich Tires SCORE Baja 500, where they piloted their #252 Jefferies-Chevy through the grueling 542-mile course from Ensenada to earn a hard-fought 13th place finish out of 25 starters.

Competing in one of SCORE's most demanding categories, Pirron demonstrates the technical expertise and endurance required to navigate Baja's unforgiving terrain in unlimited trucks equipped with stock, sealed engines. The Trophy Truck Spec division represents some of the most competitive racing in the desert, where mechanical reliability and strategic race management often determine success over raw speed.

What sets Pirron apart is his commitment to sharing the desert racing experience with the next generation. Racing with 17-year-old Alexia adds a unique dynamic to their program, combining seasoned experience with youthful enthusiasm. This partnership reflects the family tradition that runs deep in SCORE racing, where the sport's demanding nature creates unbreakable bonds between competitors who face Baja's challenges together.
