In Class 10 competition, Gaunt demonstrated exceptional endurance and skill as part of the Justin Beckley-led team #1064 that completed the grueling Baja 1000, finishing 16th overall in a field where only 17 of 33 starters reached the finish line. This achievement highlighted his ability to maintain consistency and reliability over the 1,000-mile peninsula run, covering the distance in over 36 hours of continuous racing through Baja's unforgiving terrain.

Expanding his racing repertoire, Gaunt transitioned to Trophy Truck Spec competition, piloting the #258 Geiser-Chevy in the prestigious Baja 500.
