Biography

Fresh off his commanding victory in the Pro Quad Ironman class at the 2023 BFGoodrich SCORE Baja 1000, Jose Enriquez has established himself as one of Mexico's most formidable ATV racers. The 22-year-old from Mexicali conquered the legendary 1,000-mile Baja peninsula course, demonstrating the skill and endurance that defines championship-caliber desert racing.

Enriquez's versatility across multiple disciplines sets him apart in the competitive SCORE International series. Beyond his quad racing prowess, he has proven equally capable in four-wheel competition, having competed in the challenging Class 5 Unlimited Baja Bugs category. His experience navigating the brutal Baja terrain in various machine configurations has developed the tactical knowledge essential for success in desert racing's most demanding events.

The young racer's breakthrough Baja 1000 triumph represents years of dedication to mastering the technical and physical demands of SCORE competition. Racing from his home base in Mexicali, Enriquez benefits from intimate knowledge of Baja's unforgiving landscape while competing against international fields that include some of desert racing's most accomplished veterans.
