His impressive 2017 season saw him capture second place finishes in both the SCORE Baja 1000 and Baja 500, demonstrating elite-level competitiveness in the sport's most prestigious events.

His versatility across different racing categories has been a hallmark of his career, with notable success in both Class 8 and Trophy Truck Spec divisions. In 2008, he claimed the Class 8 victory at the SCORE Baja 500, adding his name to the historic winner's list alongside legends of the sport. His 2017 Baja 1000 performance, where he finished second in Class 8 after 12 years of racing the same truck, marked an emotional milestone as he announced his retirement of the veteran machine to step up to Trophy Truck Spec competition.
