Biography

A master of extreme terrain, Casey Currie has carved out an exceptional legacy in SCORE desert racing, establishing himself as the dominant force in the Hammer Truck Unlimited class. The Corona, California native captured three consecutive SCORE Baja 1000 championships from 2017-2019, showcasing the versatility and durability that defines his racing approach. His 2018 season was particularly remarkable, sweeping both the SCORE Baja 500 and Baja 1000 in the demanding Hammer Truck Unlimited division.

Currie's success stems from his unique background in four-wheel-drive rock crawling, bringing specialized skills that prove invaluable when navigating Baja's most challenging terrain. His signature #4422 Jeep Wrangler has become synonymous with reliability and speed, capable of conquering everything from technical rock sections to high-speed desert runs. The 2017 Baja 1000 victory exemplified his team's resilience, overcoming a two-hour electrical setback to charge from last place to victory. Racing alongside co-drivers including brother Cody Currie and Aaron Quesada, Currie has consistently demonstrated the tactical patience and mechanical expertise required to excel in SCORE's premier events, earning recognition as one of desert racing's most skilled competitors.
